This website belongs to the Controller of Defence Accounts (CDA) Guwahati of Defence Accounts Department, under Ministry of Defence, Government of India. The Controller of Defence Accounts Guwahati is responsible for the Payments, Accounting and Internal Audit of the Expenditure and Receipts as well as providing Financial Advice to units and formations of the Defence Services and other Defence-related Organizations located in the North Eastern Region of the country.

Bifurcated from CDA Patna in the year 1983, it is serving more than two decades in Assam and is one of the prominent departments under the Government of India. The Controller helms the organization with the assistance of two Joint Controllers, one Dy Controller, seven Assistant Controllers and other Senior Accounts Officers / Accounts Officers / Assistant Accounts Officers looking after various sections of Main Office and the sub-offices of the CDA Guwahati.
