Inauguration of Dynamic Portion of the Website of CDA Guwahati

Following the Government of India’s policy decision on transparency in all its offices, the Right to Information Act (RTI) was enacted in the Parliament. On following this aspect, CDA Guwahati has given a giant step forward in this regard, when a Kiosk Information System (KIS) has been installed at the reception of the office on 17^th March, 2011. The Kiosk Information System will be providing the Funds and Bills information to the respective Units / Formations and also will server to the Contractors / Vendors by knowing the fate of their claims sent to this office. These will help the Units / Formations to get the required information from the reception itself on their own.

As an user you are already aware of the fact that Website of the CDA Guwahati was launched a few years back has been serving by providing adequate information to serve the fellow employees and other users. Efforts were on to extend the same benefit to the Units / Formations / Contractors / Vendors too by creating the Dynamic Part along with the website to serve the above categories of users exclusively.

As a result of these efforts, CDA Guwahati has now come up with Dynamic Website which has been attached with the present Static Part of the Website under the Tab “Client Area”. The Dynamic Part will serve the Units / Formations whose claims are being processed by this office. The Dynamic Part contains the Fund information, Bill information and even the MER also. They need to select the particular option to obtain the required information sitting at their end and as such there will be no need to send representatives to obtain such information or have to wait to obtain the Monthly Expenditure Return (MER) to reach their ends by post. The Dynamic Part has information for the Suppliers / Vendors also who are contributing a lot to nation building by serving the units / formations by supplying their requirements. They also can log into their portion to get information about the fate of their claims.

The Dynamic Website has been inaugurated by Hon'ble Shri A.K.Kadyan, IDAS, Jt CGDA (IFA) in presence of Hon'ble Controller, Shri C.Zothankhuma, IDAS, Shri Pankaj Hazarika, IDAS, Jt CDA, other IDAS officers, Sr AOs, AOs and AAOs of Main Office on 11th November, 2011 at MO, CDA Guwahati. Registration for the Units / formations and those for the Vendors / Contractors / Suppliers are currently going on.
